a) There shall be Continuing Education presentations which may take the form of lectures, demonstrations, debates, video shows and other activities which may promote the Continuing Education of its members (full and associate members). The Executive Committee shall examine the credentials and expertise of potential Continuing Education presenters in order to grant the necessary approval from them to present.
b) The Executive Committee may submit to the general body of members for consideration, the case of any member who, in the Committee’s opinion, needs financial aid or any other form of relief because of temporary or permanent disability or disease, provided that:
- The Association’s funds and resources are as such that would permit same.
- The member for whom relief is being sought would accept and utilize whatever aid is being extended to him/her for the purpose for which it is being given.
- The General membership shall decide by the majority vote whether or not a member in distress shall receive relief from the Association as recommended by the Committee.
- Voting shall be done by secret ballot.
(c) The Executive Committee may assist in the procurement of funding for full members to attend the annual CAP or CPA conferences or any such conferences from which they will stand to benefit from Continuing Education, provided that:
- The Executive Committee may request funding from overseas Pharmaceutical Houses and local distributors.
- And provided that the member(s) for whom funding is sought would accept and use whatever funding is extended to them for the purpose for which it is given.
- The general membership shall decide by a majority vote whether or not a member shall receive funding from the Association.
- Voting shall be done by secret ballot.
